Brief synopsis (no spoilers):
Dag Calhoun is a consultant and lobbyist for the highest bidder. He has helped to pass legislation and affect change for both good an bad- changes that have had global impact. He discovers a group of revolutionaries that are working to change the world in their own way. That's as far as I made it.
Category:
Fiction, Action
Why I chose this book:
Amazon First
My personal opinion:
Couldn't make it past the language. I think it had a real possibility of being a gripping novel, and it started out clean, so I was hopeful. But after a couple chapters, the language got really bad, so I gave up. I do not recommend this book for any reader.
Warnings
Language: Yes, increasing usage of the F-word
Violence: References to past violence against several characters, but no detail
"Adult" situations: References to self-stimulation, pornography, intimacy, and sexual abuse, but no detail in the part I read
Death: References, but none in the part I read
Movie rating equivalent:
R, for language and "adult content"
Protagonist description:
Dag seems to want to be the best at his job
Point of view of story:
Third, focused on Dag
Book length:
Assuming medium-short
Story flow:
Excellent
Grammar and spelling issues:
None
Character connection (no spoilers):
